my reasoning: the original thing showed a 4:3, 1:1 and 16:9 display which i tried to do and it just stressed my graphics card to its limit. a 4060 ti - i am not an expert but that has never happened before.
also, no one edits in that position. just for the sake i tried and i got back pain. Also, if you are one of the people that stretches the timeline over 2 screens (which i also tried) - stop it. get help. that is not a normal behavior. you cannot possibly make it worse.

Thanks, but the original graphic reflects external monitoring, which yours does not. Also the logo is not permitted to have 3D depth and be shiny. Rather, it is the close up view of two clips on the timeline. A basic graphic design rule is: do not violate the integrity of the brand identity. So, better to simply not try to include the logo.
so if I don’t include the logo and simply replace the images and the screen models will that solve the problem or are you just trying to tell me that you will not accept submissions regarding the shotcut website? the logo not being allowed to be shiny and have an aero effect is something that makes absolutely no sense when the thing is trying to display a timeline that in the editor has a gradient which indicates curvature → 3d. (this will get me banned at some point lol) and if I will ever hear that a logo in one of my 3d renders should not be extruded I will not like you any more. by the way, if you say that are 2 clips on a timeline, i just yesterday made an animation with that exact model being extruded (with the areo effect that will not be questioned ever again.) also, the brand integrity is not getting violated by that i think. i would even say if it wouldn’t be extruded it would just fall over. and that tis not very integrity. (that by the way was a joke). if you wish I will remove any kind of form that could possibly represent the logo. that means I will edit out all the timelines, the logo on the taskbar etc.
and if you are not happy with it then render it better and you will see that that will not bring any joy in live.
sorry for the inbox spam okay so I just invented a new thing it’s called the cooperate fun test and it is to test if someone can take a joke. if not that’s fine too but it will get a meme. and today’s test is that I shared this publicly available threat with some parts highlighted (the part with the extrusion) i will not say where and to who just on discord and 2 ppl responded the first one is “this be how Microsoft made windows 8” and the second one is just a slideshow of different video editor startups with really like fancy 3d renders underlayed with war music and one is just a square, in gimp, with the shortcut logo 3d transformed falling over with the starting test with bass boosted flute screeching in the back. it’s just so funny to me that someone actually took my edgy joke out of the response and actually visualized it. i cannot send it here tho because it violates the tos and the discord server s owners take that very seriously. funnily enough the video was edited i shotcut and not in kdenlive. (which also has a 3d render of the logo. like everyone has. i bet that being different is something good but that is ridiculous.)
by the way is it valid if I just make the logo in the back very long in every direction?
