How can I open .cr2 files in shotcut?

CR2 files are raw files so I do not know why you would want to open them with a video editor. Even if Shotcut were able to open them, they would look hideous. You need a dedicated raw developer like darktable to get any decent looking pictures which you can then export to a supported format.
