I and O keys not working for some reason?

I’m used to being able to press I and O for my in and out demarcations so I can export clips from a piece of footage. This worked for me just fine twice and then when I went to work on the next clip I and O stopped doing anything. There is no response when I press these keys now. What happened?

It seems you are in the Project tab instead of the Source tab:

Select the Source tab and see if you can use the O now.

This is what I did and it started working:

  1. Dragged the video to timeline then removed it
  2. Then I double clicked the video from the playlist
