How to make a copied filter work relative to where an object is?

If I wanted to copy a filter (position in this case) from one object to another object in a different location, it’d move the second object to where the original one with the filters was.

I wanted to ask if there’s a way where I can make it so that the filters apply relative to where the object currently is, and not based on the exact position the filter (from the original object) was made.

The question isn’t necessarily just for the copy feature, but also in case I applied a filter to an object, and later wanted to move it to a different place.

Here is an example, I hope it clarifies it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi again,

I’m not as experienced as some of the regulars around here and could be wrong, but I don’t think so.

My second example from your previous thread shows how you can have multiple filters on one track item, and they all move relative to the bottom SPR filter.

However, when items (such as your 2 logos) are on separate tracks, there is no way to link their position relative to one another (at least not that I know of). I should really have zipped up my previous examples for you to prevent the renaming of the images when uploaded separately to the forum, so sorry about that (you obviously figured it out so no biggie).
