How to fade in a effect

How can i fade in an effect? It is very important! Please answer quickly!

Use the fade filters. You can find them in the video section of the Filters menu. You can also activate the fade filters by going to the corners of each clip until you see a dark circle pop up which you use to drag into the clip to control how long you want the fade effect for.

And just to add, if you double-click this dark circle (AKA the “throbber”) you get a 1-second fade-in (or fade-out).

And if there is already a fade and you double-click the circle (fade control), it removes the fade. The same behavior happens on simple and advanced keyframes except for advanced a keyframe is added where you clicked instead of 1 second.
