I have a video clip that I want to appear for a period of time, but then I want the final frame to remain visible for a period beyond the end of the clip itself. In other words I want to lengthen the clip by padding the end of the clip with the final frame. It seems like something a filter might be able to accomplish, but I haven’t found anything that does this. What’s the right way to do this? Alternatively, is there a simple way to extract a single frame from a clip to an image that I can add to the timeline separately?
Export the last frame from the file menu, import that into the playlist then add that to the end of the timeline adjusting the time you want it to appear.
