Hey! I want to backup the whole program, therefore I copied the whole shotcut folder to a USB stick. When I use the stick on a different device and start shotcut from there, no filters or custom resolutions for projects are saved. I’m guessing I miss some folder from the appdata directory.
Can anyone tell me what’s missing and where I have to paste in on a new device to not lose the filters and similar?
After you have copied things you need to tell Shotcut on the new computer where the app data dir is different than its default. It does not automatically look for a different folder. You either use a command line parameter --appdata or in the menu Settings > App Data Directory > Set…
