How to disable Shotcut auto update?

Hi,
I use Linux Ubuntu 18.04. My Shotcut is always automatically updated when new version is available. I would like to avoid it. In Ubuntu I can’t see any option allowing to enable/disable auto update. The same is under Shotcut. The only place is when I enter Help/Upgrade menu then I’m asked if to check automatically for upgrades in future. I’m answering no. However it doesn’t help. Every time there is new version, the program is updated. May it be somehow related that under Unbuntu Snap is used for Shotcut?
Regards

Shotcut does not auto update. This is from your package manager or snap.

Yeah, after some investigation I have the same impression that it’s updated automatically by snap. How to turn it off?
