How to cut sections from video

I have a 35 minute video and wish to cut several small sections from it. How can I do that please?

Not sure if you mean take one clip and cut it into several sections or shorten a clip by cutting out several sections but:

Simplest way IMO :

  • Drag the clip on the timeline
  • Each time you want to do a Cut, use “S”
  • Suppr all tha parts you want to remove
  • then you can add effects, transitions, titles…
