How to change default audio track of a video

Hi,

I downloaded Shotcut because I wanted to change the default audio track of an .mp4 file, and was told there was a way to do this…looking into it, I’m not sure I have the right tool.

Video in question has two audio tracks, numbered 1 and 2. I want to change track 2 to be defaulted audio track. Is there a way to do this in shotcut?

No, sorry, this is not the right tool for that job.

You can use ffmpeg for this, and Shotcut includes a copy of that command line utility as a convenience for you. Here is a good answer on how to do it:

it seems to me that with shutter encoder it is possible to do this (it also relies on ffmpeg)
