Hi, sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn’t find it.
I have several video tracks and one main audio track. Now after 4-5 video tracks, the audio track disappears out of the UI on my laptop screen and it becomes very difficult to align the audio with the video.
Is there a way to “hide” video tracks (only from UI, not from the project), so that I can always see the bottom audio track and the top video track?
Is there any other way to do it?
I tested around and it seems that all audio tracks get grouped at the bottom…

Solution que j’emploie:
Ajoutez une piste vidéo au dessus de la piste vidéo sur laquelle vous travaillez.
Sélectionnez votre clip audio et placez la tête de lecture au début de ce clip.
Copier
Sélectionnez l’entête de la nouvelle piste vidéo sans modifier la position de la tête de lecture.
Coller
Une copie du clip audio est désormais sur la piste vidéo. Cliquez sur le symbole de l’œil pour la rendre invisible et sur le symbole du haut-parleur pour la rendre muette.
A la fin, vous pouvez supprimer la piste complète.
I don’t think that’s possible. You can reduce the height of the tracks, but not until you make them disappear.
Solution I’m using:
Add a video track above the video track you’re working on.
Select your audio clip and place the playhead at the beginning of that clip.
Copy
Select the header of the new video track without changing the position of the playback head.
Paste
A copy of the audio clip is now on the video track. Click on the eye symbol to make it invisible and on the speaker symbol to mute it.
At the end, you can delete the entire track.
