Hot to cut a TS4 File without Rendering ?

Hi

I need to cut out some segments of a TS4-Video-File that I recorded with my TechnisSat-Receiver. However I do not want to re-render it or change the Video-Format.
I just need to cut it.

Is that possible with shotcut ?

I only found export where it asks me for the new video Format.
Nothing like “original” to find here ?

Can anybody help ?

I’m new to shotcut and tried avidemux before but that did not work since it only allowed trimming.

This is the closest that Shotcut has:

Extract Sub-clip

Shotcut can not “pass through” or copy codecs without re-encoding. The closest thing available to that is Properties > menu > Extract sub-clip, which uses the in and out points of a trimmed clip. [image] Extract sub-clip will find the key frame closest to the in/out points and copy the codecs into a new container without re-encoding. Any filters applied to the clip will not be applied to the sub-clip because that would require re-encoding. This feature has some limitations and may not always…
