Hold frame in flow easier

Oh wow, that’s great news, thanks @shotcut. Looking forward to trying it out via a nightly build.

Available now in the latest nightly version
It works very well !

Wow, this is very conveniently implemented! Sometimes I need a freeze frame.

Yup, just tested. Works great! Farewell, Auto HotKey!!

Thank you @shotcut. Just one observation though - I notice the audio waveform is still showing in the “freeze” section, even though it is muted in playback (see demo video).

Shotcut’s timeline waveforms (and thumbnails) do not reflect filters. Change Properties > Audio > Track = None if you do not want to see that.

And farewell to my freeze frame workflow. This is way better.

I have had a screaming need for something like this in the past, when I wanted to automate a process on a multilayered image file in paint.net (which doesn’t have any scripting functionality).

It’s not relevant to me right now - I really hope I remember your comment if I need it in the future.

I have been waiting years for this and have asked for it several times.
Thank you very much that it is now possible.
I will use the function frequently in my badminton instructional videos.

No problem, @nitram - if you want help with Auto Hotkey in the future I’m usually around…
