This is just to say I’m new here, and also new to serious video editing. So forgive me if I ask stupid questions. I did a few videos with MS Movie Maker which you folks will look down on, but that has died now and the clones out there are unsafe according to Kaspersky. So I’m baffled by the complexity of Shotcut! I’ve viewed the tutorials and if anyone can steer me towards simple guidance that would be great. Right now I’m not creating videos, just editing existing stuff - adding titles and commentary etc. That should get me going.
