Hearth beat effect

Hi,
I’m trying to find any tutorial how to make hearth beat effect for shotcut films. The best some kind of line which would go from right to left and pulsing in some rythme (artifical or ex. music rythme). How to get something similar?

Another option is to put hearth image and making it bigger and brighter according to sound clip with hearth sound.

Any ideas how to make that?

Another possibility is to just obtain an ECG video from the web and use that. Don’t forget to check out the licensing agreement though. e.g.
