I’m using version 23.07.29, and when trying to use the encoder via hardware it doesn’t detect it, and when I select all and try to export it gives an error right at the beginning of the export. How do I resolve this?
my video card is a GEforce gt 730
The GT 730 does not support hardware encoding. It does not have the necessary NVENC circuitry.
Specifically, the Fermi GF108 chipset does not support NVENC. The Kepler GK108 does in some cases. But if Shotcut isn’t finding anything, it’s a pretty good sign your card is Fermi architecture.
