Greenscreen conversion

Hello all.

This is probably unlikely, but is there a way to turn a video into its own greenscreen video using shotcut?

For example, the moving doll singing in this clip:

I want to make the background behind that doll green to be able to do something like this:

Is that possible with shotcut, or any other free program? Or am I gonna have to end up shelling hundreds on pro software to do it?
