Glaxnimate, How to reintegrate open tool windows

Hello
When I tried to move a tool like timeline on shotcut or layer on Glaxnimate, they went into window mode and from there impossible to reintegrate them into the shotcut or Glaxnimate window. On shotcut, I’ve found how to reset the window layout, but I can’t find it on Glaxnimate.

Does this function exist on Glaxnimate?

How can I reintegrate the tools into the Hotcut or Glaxnimate window and no longer have the tool in a window?

In addition, Shotcut and Glaxnimate save the last layout, and re-open these tools in window mode each time, which makes them very complicated to use.

Maybe you are having trouble with Wayland on Linux or with whatever is your window manager because both of what we answered work on a normal functioning system. Qt coordinates this with the window manager.

Also, you can edit Glaxnimate’s configuration data. Use Help > About > Paths and click the icon for Settings. It opens in a text editor for me. You should close Glaxnimate before saving the changes in the text editor. Otherwise, Glaxnimate will likely overwrite the settings on close. Remove configuration key window_state to reset Glaxnimate’s layout.

Drag and drop didn’t work on my system maybe Gnome (43.9) but the reset with the configuration key window_state worked !

You could add a layout reset button like in shotcut
