I’ve got a gain/volume reduction filter applied to a clip of audio I’d like to fade out at the end. However, when the fade out begins, the volume of the audio seems to spike up when the fade out starts.
How do I make the audio fade out from the reduced volume instead of the audio’s maximum volume?
Here’s the end of my video, so you get a better idea of what my issue is.
Hi @Arthur_Wang
This problem seems to be on the last audio clip on track V2.
Does this spike also occur everywhere there is a fade on that track? Or is it just on the last clip?
I see you also have filters applied to the track head. Is this where you applied the Gain/volume filter? And are there other filters applied to the track?
It doesn’t seem to occur anywhere else on V2, just on the last clip.
On the track itself I applied a Gain/Volume filter, and on the last clip I applied another Gain/Volume filter as well as a fade in and fade out audio filter.
One way I way able to reproduce a similar problem is by using the Set Filter End in the keyframes panel.
Select that last clip on track V2
Select the Gain/Audio filter
Check in the Keyframes panel if the filter is applied to the entire clip.
If everything is normal on that clip, check also the Gain/Audio filter applied to the track.
Turns out the Gain/Audio filter applied to the track didn’t cover the last second or so. Not sure why, but I’ve fixed it now. Thanks for the help.
