I’m trying to help with the French translation on transifex…
Many strings have warning because of the word “clip”, In French, the most direct translations for a video segment are “extrait” or “clip”. Yes French widely use the word “clip”.
Also there is the word “clip” alone. Without a context, we cannot translate as it could be anything.
Are those a button, a clip, a cut, whatnot…? a screenshot would be nice or a direct link to the Shotcut’s help to see what’s all about this particular “clip”.
Letting the standalone word “clip” is not wrong either, did I say French commonly use that word as well
