Freeze a frame in video clips

Hi,

I like to know in the latest version of shotcut I just upgraded, is there a easier way to freeze a frame at any point of a video clip?
I know the old ways based on past query 3 years ago is to do the “export frame” then import and slot at appropriate point of video clip/adjust timeline. It was mentioned then future feature for this will be implemented. Wonder if this is already implemented now and if so how to use it? Thanks.

Time Remap Filter

The Time Remap filter is the first filter that allows altering the timing of the underlying source clip. It maps clip time to output time. Time remap does what you need, but I personally still use the old method

I will use the old method for now and explore more on this new Time Remap filter.
