First video project 100% based on 4K footage

Dear Forum,

I made this video also to test my workstation (32 GB of RAM, i5 10400F CPU and Samsung 870 EVO SSD drive)…
As usual, I used Linux Mint 21 XFCE edition…
Perhaps I was too careless and used up to 10 video tracks…
I also used a lot of Size, Position and Rotation filters…
I exhausted all the RAM very quickly and I had to restart Shotcut several times. No crashes…
Final project was rendered down to 1920x1080…
I guess I will need to use less video tracks… but I’m considering upgrading RAM up to 64 GB…
Thanks for watching…

Nice edit, but too slow, I mean seriously too slow paced… I felt I was still watching overdone (slightly better than 1x speed) slow motion at 1.5x.
It would have been better at 1.75x or 2x.

Either I am not patient enough, or this is just too much slomo to me.

The shots, transitions, simplicity, everything was perfect :+1:t2:

Hi Ar_D,

Thanks for your feedback.
I got the footage from Videvo. I didn’t shoot the scenes…
That was my initial limitation; acquired and limited footage. Half way through the video, I almost gave up due to lack of footage… On the final bits, I had to use Size… filter to make it look “different”…
I have tried to speed up the pace by jumping to and back scenes…
Much appreciated.

In that case, it’s an epitome of how a masterpiece looks like
