Filter (white balance) on playlist

Hi there,

I’m new to Shotcut but I really like it so far.

I have a little issue though: I want to apply a white balance filter to several clips of my playlist. So what I do is that I double-click on one of the clips, I go to the filter panel and add the white balance filter. Then I do the same with the next clip I want to balance. And unfortunately, when I come back to the first clip by double-clicking on it, the filter is gone…

Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you,

PS: I use Linux Ubuntu 14.04

Just tested it with glow and white balance. Happens to me as well.

This is not actually a bug, It just has to be done differently.

In order to add filters to a playlist project you have to edit the source clip BEFORE adding it to a playlist. The way playlist projects work is just by tying clips together.

So what you’re supposed to do is load the clip, and add the filters/cuts/transitions and everything while in the source tab. Then add it to the playlist, and when you view all of it together in the project tab as your playlist, it should retain all the changes you made.

Ok thank you very much :).
