Filter>Text:Rich>won't let me insert text?

Greetings

Thanks in advance, here’s a problem:

1. When I try to add a filter > Text:rich> the text box for me to enter text shows up in the video editor window BUT does not allow me to enter text anymore?

2. When I try to enter text it brings up the filter window (as if I were searching for a filter) and inputs the text I entereed into the video editor window! It never did this before?

3. In essense I can no longer add text to the filter in the editor window because it defaults to diverting the entered text into the filter search bar!

4. I am using Linux Mint

   Any idea why this is?

LinuxMint 22.1 Shotcut 25.08.16 Flatpak version. I have a bug with the flatpak version of shotcut. When I try to type something in the text input field in the text:filter, the text is not entered and different key combinations work instead. But if I hold the ALT key, everything works as expected.
