Feature or bug in transition in 26.4 update?

I am unsure of which, but since I updated 2-3 days ago when I extend a clips length, both ends adjust at the same time (though only sometimes from the left side), causing me to waste a lot of time re-adjusting since I almost always want to just to one end at a time.

Reviewed all the scrub / snap / ripple such effects but doesn’t seem to be the issue, example below:

At 3 seconds in your video, you grabbed the left side of the transition, not the clip.

This is grabbing the right side of the clip to the left of the transition:
