Hello people. I haven’t done a tutorial in a long time. Well, here’s a micro-tutorial for you.
Have you ever felt the need to navigate really fast between panels?
Me neither to be honest. Until today… Because I just realized there is a way to do it.
Simply position the cursor on any panel tab and spin the mouse wheel!
I hope you appreciate the effort I’ve put into this demonstration. To make navigation between panels easier to see for you all, I’ve deliberately switched to the Light theme.
As with every rule there is one exception () this doesn’t work between source and project panels. All the other ones do work and I use it all the time by mistake when moving the mouse just a bit below the timeline
What the?? !! Brilliant @musicalbox. Thank you. Actually that helps me loads because I’ve just been writing a new Auto HotKey script* which involves changing frequently from one panel to another, and this will simplify things…
@musicalbox, The AHK script is a re-working of my “Instant Lyrics” method which I made a few years ago (do you remember it?) - but this time it makes uses of the new Subtitles panel in conjunction with the Notes panel. I was going to post about it with a demo tutorial on this forum but don’t have the spare time right now. Maybe soon I will…
