Fails to load video files properly

Yes I can repeat the problem, you can see it in the video linked below.

This problem literally appeared while creating this video. I had saved the file several times and re-opened it several times before it just started to mess up.

I just reinstalled shotcut with clean registry selected and the problem persists. It worked fine up until recently.

I do not reproduce it. Looks like a problem with the source video files.

It worked fine for 2 days while i was working on it. then on the third it stopped working.
The video files load fine in all players.

Is the problem only occurring on clips where you have changed the clip speed?

Can you look in the application log immediately after the problem occurs and see if there are any hints in there? Feel free to upload the log to this forum.

Oh, yeah, good eye to see the “(7x)” on those clips. Sometimes, the source clips do not seek well enough to handle the speed change and you need to use Properties > Convert on them to make them edit friendly. Be careful how you encode your screen recordings! I have seen people using capture settings with a very long GOP (keyframe interval), which is very bad for editing.

I don’t remember what i have my key frames set to on OBS right now. What would you recommend for a good key length?

Also, is your clip variable frame rate? Show its Properties or even better use Properties > menu > More Information and paste that.
