Hello, i’m editing my first video on shotcut and im getting errors when trying to export previously i exported few videos without any filters or so i’t let me do it just fine now im getting errors here is the log, thanks in advance.

You used some invalid combination of options in Export > Advanced. Maybe you chose the YouTube or H.264 High Profile preset and then changed quality to 100%. Don’t do that. Either do not change quality % or choose the lossless/H.264 preset. Advanced mode does not have rules to prevent you from making wrong combinations of options; it assumes that you are advanced.

yes i’ve been trying to set quality to 100 i will try lossless now

okay it exported just fine but with media players windows original shows black screen, vlc media shows a video but it is very laggy any alternatives to use ?

That is what happens when you choose lossless H.264 or 100%. In export, click Reset and then Export File. It is not required to change things. But if you want to bump up quality some more, simply choose the H.264 High Profile preset and do not change quality; it is already very high.

mkv player plays video just fine on lossless export, but when editing a video in shotcut preview is very laggy i can’t really see if i edited good is there any option that could help ?

These are the downsides of using lossless videos. The file sizes are huge and compression is very CPU heavy.

You can try switching to Settings → Processing Mode → 10 bit GPU/CPU, but this might not be enough, you need really fast storage, RAM and GPU.
