iPhone 16 Pro videos fail to create proxy files

What is your operating system? Mac OS Sonoma 14.7 What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? 24.09.13 Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps? Videos added to Shotcut from my new iPhone 16 Pro fail to create proxy files. I’ve tried different settings, but they all fail. I am surprised it is happening again for you.
I will try to release to retest it, but I might forget since I’m out of town. Meanwhile it had an explanation and workaround for future recordings.
