I could not find anything about this topic which I imagine is a common problem. I would like this shadow to be transparent.
Just to be clear, the video underneath the png shows-up, the shadow is just a silhouette of the png. When png is complete faded in, the shadow is not visible.

I just added this to the FAQ
In the fade out filter did you tick the box saying “Adjust opacity instead of fade with black”?
And before you ask why this is not the default:
This will not work with the primary use case of fading on V1 because V1 is not blended with the hidden black background as a performance optimization.
