Fade In / Out using the corner handles?

  • What is your operating system?

Win10

  • What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?

26.4.30

  • Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

I processed a bunch of video into clips by the following method:

  • I imported 3 short videos into the project playlist and they were proxied at 360p.
  • Using a single track on the timeline I laid out the video and cut it up and deleted sections as appropriate to get my 30-90s clips.
  • I put fade in/out on every clip using the corner handles.
  • The first clip correctly fades in/out both video and audio as desired.
  • All subsequent clips cut the video in full and faded in/out the AUDIO ONLY.
  • The behaviour was apparent in the preview window and the exported clips (which were exported using markers)

Does not reproduce for me.

Nor me now.

I’m trying to think what else I did that might have messed up the file config.

Early on in the project I switched Processing Mode from native 8-bit to Linear 10-bit GPU/CPU. It created another project file in the process. I wonder if that screwed something up.
