As a test I exported a 2min 46,5mb video with your settings (differences that it’s 30fps and 1920x1080), and the result was 282mb with no hardware encoder, and 26,2mb with hardware encoder…I’m so confused with when the hardware encoder results in a bigger video or not. But I’ll definitely be giving it a go on my next real video.
