Iam using Shotcut on my Mac, and Iam stuck with an issue. After finishing my edits and exporting the video, the file plays with just a black screen, but the audio is fine.
I have tried tweaking the export settings, but nothing has worked so far.
Has anyone else faced this? Any tips or fixes would mean a lot thanks!
That might be the problem. If you are a beginner and having trouble, don’t change anything in Export and turn off the hardware encoder. If you did change something click Reset in Export and then Export File.
Maybe there is a problem in the project. Make a simple test by opening a short video and exporting it; you do not need to edit it or maybe simply edit it to make it short.
Maybe it can have something to do with the typeset (utf8,windos1252,iso8859-1,or mac special) of the os and the filenames. I did have some bad black moments in videos exporting melt tool without Shotcut of the command line. There are already info’s about this topic here.
