Export in advanced mode with reframe and keyframe

I’m trying to export a landscape video to portrait format. I’m simply using the advanced export mode with the reframe button. Since I want to use mobile framing, I move my frame horizontally at certain points in the video using keyframes to track the character. The frame dimensions never change. I finish by clicking the export button, but the task fails immediately. I’ve tried several times, and the error always occurs.
For your information, I tried exporting with fixed reframe, without using keyframes, and it works perfectly. But in this case, I’m unable to track the character in the video.
Can you tell me the solution?

I’m not sure what the issue is but this would be a good candidate for motion tracking.

I didn’t understand what you were trying to explain exactly, this answer is from what I vaguely understand out of this. And this actually I would say not a answer but workaround until someone gives a better solution, just save the project, and use mlt as a clip in different project. I think this should work.

I presume you are using the h264_nvenc hardware encoder.
With this encoder and the Reframe filter, Export fails for me too. (I reported this when the Reframe filter was added to Shotcut.)
If you have an AMD processor, export works with h264_amf.
Otherwise, disable the hardware encoder and try again.

Thank you very much SergeC. I am indeed using the hardware encoder and I have an Intel processor. I will try tomorrow by disabling the hardware processor and I will keep you informed.
Finally I did the operation today and it worked.
So just uncheck the “Use hardware encoder” box.
Thanks again SergeC  :+1: :ok_hand:

Sounds like this thread from a few days ago

This is fixed for the next version 25.03. The workaround is to add progressive=1 on a new line to Export > Other.

I can confirm that it works. Thanks Dan :+1:
