I’ve done a rough cut and want to export the cut and files to another editor to continue building the edit. Is this possible or will all the pathways be erased once it leaves my computer?

The other person will also need to have Shotcut installed, preferably the same version number.
Send all of your media files and Project MLT file over to them.
You will still be able to work/access your project… Shotcut doesn’t erase the project.
