I reproduced this in that version using your project file with my own media, but it has already been fixed in a newer version. The latest version is 21.06 (your project does not crash for me) even though it has not yet become the recommended stable version on the download page (it might become recommended). https://shotcut.org/blog/new-release-210629/ You can also try the beta version for the next release due by the end of the month:
