Well, that was kind of a waste of time. I just spent several days doing a version of King Crimson’s Epitaph and when I tried to publish it YouTube told me it is copyright protected and I can publish it but only if I remove the melody and the entire section from about 2 minutes in. Jeeze, my channel isn’t even monetized, I have under 50 followers, but I’m a threat to Fripp. Well, anyway, it does seem to be viewable if you have the link, it just won’t ever show up on my regular page or in searches. At least, I think that’s what their tortured language means. Let’s see:

Let me know it the link is available.
Assuming that that even works, I did have a question about using the size/position filter. How can I get the ends of the zoom transitions to be less jerky? I have tried setting the type of keyframe to “smooth” and sometimes that helps, but often it doesn’t. In Vegas 12 (which I haven’t used in years) you could set an “ease-in/out” keyframe but so far I haven’t figured out what the equivalent might be in Shotcut. That whole Ken Burns thing is important to me because my videos are basically just pictures so I need all the ways I can get to add variety, but I do want it to be smooth.
Thanks!
