It would be nice if there was a check box under Settings > Timeline that would allow you to disable automatic transitions.
I never use transitions when editing video. However, sometime when just selecting a clip, it shifts a few frames to the left or right, resulting in an automatic transition. Clicking Undo can take a long time to process which really kills the editing flow for me.
If possible, I wouldn’t want this feature to disable dragging a clip past another clip, to an empty space on the timeline. Thanks for considering this suggestion.
