Editing Audio track of a video with Shotcut

Hi there,

I need to make some edits to just the narrated audio track of an mp4 video. That’s to say, replacing a few sentences of spoken narration with something else. Can this be done with Shotcut?

Of course.
You simply cut the sequences (iyc narration) and add and paste parts of your choice.

Right-click on the video and press “Detach audio”. The audio will be added into an audio track and you are able to make edits without affecting your video.
