Download link for Shotcut on Windows on Intel or AMD is not working

On the Shotcut download page at Shotcut - Download the link for Shotcut on Windows on Intel or AMD does not work.

Clicking on this link leads to a “This site can’t be reached” message at Download shotcut-win64-26.2.26.exe (Shotcut)

I am using Google Chrome Version 146.0.7680.165 on Windows 11.

You must use the English language in a bug report. If you do not speak English please use a translation service instead of trying your best to write English. Thank you

  • What is your operating system?

(If you are using Linux, you must state how you installed Shotcut as there are too many builds and packages. In general, we do not make the build installed by your distribution package manager unless it installs the Snap. The developers only build, test, run, and support the builds shown on our download page.)

  • What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?

  • Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

(Please be specific and use the names as seen in Shotcut, preferably English. Include a screenshot or screen recording if you can. Also, you can attach logs from either View > Application Log or right-click a job and choose View Log.)

It works, but maybe the SourceForge redirect to a page is not working in your location.

Thanks for responding. That enabled me to download the exe file.

I have just found that the exe file did download yesterday on one attempt even though it always gave me an error message. I still don’t understand what’s happening, but thanks for the workaround. I’m not sure if this affects me only. Most new people wanting to try Shotcut but having a download error would not set up an account on the forum - there may be other people who have had the same problem but who have not responded.
