Dithering effect

Maybe you could add a filter that lowers the dynamic range of a video and instead adds a dithering effect to create the illusion of higher dynamic range.

Like this.
Let me know your thoughts on it.

Made a UI for the dither filter a while back.
Try it and see if it works for you.

Copy the 00 dither folder to:
Drive:\Shotcut\share\shotcut\qml\filters\
