Hi, I wonder whether this is a limitation of Qt or intentional. When I override the “New Project” dialogue and simply add clips to the playlist, the aspect ratio of the first clip determines the AR of the (as yet unsaved) project. So far, so good. But the AR isn’t displayed in the window bar at the top of Shotcut. If I add another clip with a different AR and add it to the timeline, only then I’ll learn what the project AR, derived from the first clip, is, because it’s being shown in the upper bar.
This is no showstopper, just mildly annoying. Wouldn’t it make more sense to show this information after the first clip has been added to the playlist?
