I use a Windows 11 16GB RAM i3 laptop no graphics card other than stock.

Shotcut version 24.09.13

the language is changing syntax when i render my video. it looks okay when I am editing look at the screenshots to get an idea of what i am talking about here. I have typed in Marathi and English. I have including both edit and render screenshots. strange thing to happen. I fixed it by changing text filters but still its weird.

Can you clarify this comment?
Are you saying that the problem occurs with “Text:Simple” but does not occur with “Text:Rich”?

My bad I meant fonts not filters. It wouldn’t matter if its Simple or Rich. Its an issue with certain Devnagari fonts. Not a Shotcut problem. But something to look out for.

Stylised Devanagari usually doesn’t work, I use what comes with windows, it always works fine for me…
