Detach audio duplicates video on hidden track

I am using Shotcut 21.03.21 on macOS 11.2.3 (Big Sur).
I don’t know if this is by design, but I’ve noticed that the detach audio function behaves strangely if there are multiple video tracks in the project. If all video tracks are shown (with the open eye icon) detach audio works as expected, removing the audio from the video clip and moving it to the audio track (and creating an audio track if not present). Instead, if there is an hidden video track (with the closed eye icon) in the project, detach audio removes the audio from the video clip and copies the entire video clip (video plus audio) in the hidden video track.
