Desktop video recorder tool inquiry

Hi Folks,

Just curiously…..

When you guys answered my questions by showing me the video clip of how to use Shortcut. What kind of video software did you use to record the demonstration??? It looks like using a software that records activity on the computer screen or Desktop??? What is it???

In that term, whatever video recorder software you used, would I be able to record my Zoom meeting that would record what I see on the computer Desktop???

Hope all helps with answers with video recording on the Desktop computer.

Hope that video recorder software is free download??

Oh, I almost forgot, my computer OS is Windows 11 with 64 bit.

It’s called OBS Studio.
It’s free and opensource.

You could also use ShareX. Also free and open source. I use it a lot - it’s really good.

Screen recording is included in Windows, macOS, and most Linux desktops.

Wow, thanks, @shotcut - I didn’t know the Snipping Tool can capture video as well as stills.
