How can I capture video with the DeckLink Mini Recorder? I would like to simply view the stream coming from my DeckLink Mini Recorder?
Have you tried File/Open other, then select SDI/HDMI under Device?

I’m glad that worked for you, Lucas. I don’t have a Declink card but noticed the option in my ‘travels.’ For instance, the first time I used Shotcut I had to select the ALSA Audio option to get my sound to work. I tried the Video4Linux option to try capturing video but could not get it to work. I have used Color, under Generator to create a solid color background slide.
