Hi. I’ve seen that in some videos there is this cool corrupted effect and I only just recently learnt it was called datamoshing. (Google search it) I just thought it would be really cool if a datamoshing filter or transition effect could be added because it could really make some edits liik a whole level cooler (in my opinion atleast)
I had a look at how to do it and I found out that it is only possible in paid video editors such as Sony Vegas and premiere. There was a free version of doing it using a program called Avidemux but I thought it would be simpler to just integrate it into shotcut as a video filter or a transition option.
