Cursor visibility and other improvements in Linux

Following the dynamics of another thread (focused on Windows), for improving the visibility of the mouse pointer for use in tutorials, I thought I would open a similar one for Linux users.

On Linux Ubuntu Studio 20.10 (Plasma-desktop), I enabled certain desktop effects that provide interesting functionality for visibility.
Here is a sample:

This solution worked for me. I now have a large mouse pointer for better viewing.

The magnifying glass effect can also be useful. The window size and keyboard shortcuts can be configured.
