When I crop parts of a clip on the timeline, the clip gets bigger to fill the screen. Presumably when I output the clip it will be extrapolated to fill the 1920x1080 but I don’t want it to do that; I want it to stay the same size it was (and fill the remainder with black if needs be).
Use the Size and Position filter after using the Crop filter.
