Creating sound for an existing MPEG video file

Hello,

My apologies for persisting with this subject.

I have tried many times to put sound onto a short video created in “Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3”.

With help from Steve_Ledger I am able to create the sound and dub it onto a snippet of video via Shotcut.

Unfortunately when I try to load the modified file into “Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3” the program will not accept the modified file.

I believe the properties of files acceptable to “Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3” are mpeg-2.

I would really appreciate any suggestions you are able to provide.

Thanks for your suggestion Steve - it is appreciated.

I finally converted files that are accepted by “Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3”.

I used Roxio Creator NXT 5 and was able to insert a music track that was accepted by the existing footage.
